Client Concern
Balancing spacious visual flow with a natural, tactile living experience
   The client wanted a herringbone floor suitable for a large open-plan interior without creating visual clutter. They also preferred a completely matte, organic surface that felt natural and warm underfoot, avoiding the artificial appearance of traditional lacquer finishes.
Our Solution
    To create a cleaner and more contemporary layout, we customized a wider 120 × 600 mm herringbone format, reducing visual density and enhancing the openness of the space.
   Premium AB grade oak was selected to maintain a clean and uniform appearance with minimal knots and color variation.
For the surface, we applied a natural oil finish combined with a subtle wire-brushed texture, preserving the authentic matte look and natural tactile feel of real oak.
   To ensure long-term stability across the continuous open-plan area, the floor utilized a 3-layer engineered construction together with a reliable click installation system, allowing seamless floating installation throughout the living and dining spaces.
