DL-711 White Oak 190mm Long Plank Engineered Flooring Light Brushed
DL-711 is a 190mm long plank engineered oak floor with a light wire-brushed surface and UV lacquer finish: 12/1.2mm multi-layer construction with a 1.2mm solid oak veneer wear layer over a poplar-eucalyptus multi-layer core, ABCD natural character grade, click floating installation. The defining quality of DL-711 is its light wire-brush treatment — a deliberately restrained brushing that opens the grain just enough to add a fine, subtle texture without the more pronounced ridged relief of a standard or heavy brush. The result is a pale, cool-greige natural oak floor that reads as almost-raw: the oak's own light tone presented through minimal surface intervention, with just enough texture to confirm the material's authenticity and prevent the pale surface from reading as flat or synthetic. UV lacquer seals the lightly brushed surface with a durable, low-maintenance film. DL-711 is in stock at AMUER's Dalian China factory for immediate dispatch.

Product Overview
Pale Cool-Greige Oak at 190mm — The Most Tonally Neutral Floor in the Dalian Range
DL-711 is the lightest and most tonally neutral product in the AMUER Dalian factory range. Where DL-706 adds a honey-amber stain to warm and enrich the natural oak tone, and DL-703 presents natural oak at its pale honey baseline, DL-711 goes one step further toward tonal neutrality: the light wire-brush treatment and UV lacquer present the oak at its palest, coolest, and most restrained natural tone — a pale cool-greige that sits at the intersection of white and warm grey without committing to either.
This tonal neutrality is DL-711's primary design quality. The floor reads as pale, cool, and architectural in north-facing light; slightly warmer and more organic in south-facing or warm artificial light. It does not impose warmth, coolness, or colour on the interior — it recedes into the space as a calm, light, natural ground that allows walls, furniture, and textiles to advance. This is the floor for interiors where the floor is infrastructure rather than statement: a light, quality ground beneath the interior's main design moves.
The light wire-brush treatment is the correct surface choice for DL-711's pale tone. A standard or heavy brush on a pale floor would create a pronounced grain-ridge texture that could read as deliberately distressed — inconsistent with the clean, minimal aesthetic that DL-711's pale colour establishes. The light brush creates a finer, more subtle grain texture: just enough to confirm the material's authenticity and prevent the UV lacquer surface from reading as smooth and synthetic, but restrained enough that the texture reads as quality rather than rustic.
UV lacquer is the pragmatic and correct finish: it preserves the pale colour with complete transparency (no warmth or deepening as natural oil would add), provides durable protection, and requires no periodic re-oiling — important for a pale floor where maintenance products could risk shifting the delicate neutral tone.
Installation & Room Suitability
Click Installation (Floating)
DL-711 uses Uniclic-compatible click floating installation. No adhesive required.
・Subfloor flatness: 3mm per 2m maximum
・Approved acoustic/thermal underlay: 3mm maximum thickness
・Expansion gap: minimum 12mm at all walls
・Acclimatisation: 48 hours at room temperature before laying
・Stagger end joints: minimum 300mm
・Micro-bevel joints: do not fill or caulk
・Pale floor note: keep installation area clean; subfloor marks can show through pale boards during laying
Underfloor Heating
・Compatible — maximum surface temperature 27°C. Maintain 45–60% RH year-round. UV lacquer more moisture-resistant than wax oil. Increase temperature gradually after installation: +1–2°C per day.
・1.2mm wear layer — light surface maintenance only; not suitable for full machine sanding. Communicate to clients.
Room Suitability
| Room / Application | Suitability | Method | |||||
| Living Rooms | Exceptional | DL-711's pale cool-greige creates a clean, light, architectural living room ground. UV lacquer is durable. The neutral tone works with virtually every interior palette from pale minimalist to bold saturated wall colours. | |||||
| Open Plan | Exceptional | Pale UV lacquer oak reads as a unified, bright floor across large open-plan spaces. Maximises light reflection. Cool-greige unifies kitchen and living zones without imposing warmth or colour. | |||||
| Minimalist & Japandi Interiors | Exceptional | DL-711's pale tonal neutrality and light brush texture are the correct combination for minimalist and Japandi interiors. The floor recedes; the interior advances. | |||||
Bedrooms | Excellent | Pale cool-greige creates a calm, restful bedroom. UV lacquer requires no re-oiling. The neutral tone allows any bedding and furniture colour palette.
Home Offices | Excellent | Clean, light, focused environment. Neutral tone does not distract. Desk chair mat recommended.
Dining Rooms | Very Good | UV lacquer resists dining spills. Pale tone shows spill marks more readily than dark floors — prompt response important.
Hallways | Very Good | UV lacquer resists abrasion. Pale tone shows grit more readily — entrance mat and regular sweeping essential.
Kitchen (dry zone) | Good | UV lacquer resists splashes. Pale floor requires strict spill protocol. Dry zone only.
Bathrooms | Not Recommended | Not suitable for wet environments.
Care & Maintenance
| Task | Method | ||||
| Daily | Dry sweep or vacuum with soft brush head. Pale floors show dust and grit more readily than dark floors — regular sweeping is the single most important maintenance habit for DL-711. The light-brushed grain channels collect fine grit; remove before it abrades the UV lacquer. | ||||
| Weekly | Damp mop with well-wrung cloth and pH-neutral UV lacquer floor cleaner only. No steam mop. No standard household cleaners. No standing water. | ||||
| Spills | Wipe immediately. UV lacquer provides good spill resistance. On a pale floor, coloured liquids (wine, coffee, sauce) require instant response — they are more visible than on dark floors. | ||||
Micro-bevel joints | Do not fill. Clean with soft vacuum brush. On a pale floor, joint debris is more visible — clean regularly.
No re-oiling | UV lacquer requires no periodic re-oiling. Never apply wax, oil, or tinted maintenance products to DL-711 — any warmth-adding product will shift the pale cool-greige tone permanently.
Wear layer care | 1.2mm wear layer — felt pads under all furniture, entrance mat, desk chair mat. Light surface buffing with compatible UV lacquer product if needed; no machine sanding.
Never | Steam mop · standing water · wax or oil · ammonia or bleach cleaners · tinted maintenance products · abrasive pads · machine sanding.

FAQ
Q1. What is DL-711 and how does it differ from DL-703 and DL-706?
All three are 12/1.2mm oak veneer multi-layer click floors from AMUER's Dalian factory. The differences are surface treatment and colour: DL-703 is natural unmodified oak with a standard brush — pale honey-cream, warm grain texture. DL-706 has a honey-amber color stain — warmer and richer than natural oak. DL-711 has a light wire-brush only, no stain — the palest and most tonally neutral of the three, a cool greige-white that is the least warm of the three tones.
Q2. What does 'light wire-brushed' mean on DL-711?
Light wire-brushing applies a restrained wire-brush treatment that removes only the softest early-wood fibres from the oak surface, creating a fine, subtle grain texture. It is deliberately lighter than a standard brush treatment, producing less pronounced grain relief while still adding enough texture to confirm the material's authenticity. On DL-711's pale UV lacquer surface, the fine brushed channels catch light as very subtle lines in directional light — adding visual depth without creating a heavy or rustic textured appearance.
Q3. Does UV lacquer change DL-711's pale colour?
UV lacquer on DL-711 is fully transparent and does not add warmth, depth, or tonal shift to the pale natural oak colour — unlike natural oil, which would deepen and warm the tone toward honey-gold. The pale cool-greige that you see on DL-711 is the oak's own natural colour under a transparent protective film. This is the advantage of UV lacquer over natural oil on a pale, colour-neutral floor: the finish preserves the pale tone exactly rather than enriching it.
Q4. Can DL-711 be used over underfloor heating?
Yes — DL-711 is compatible with both hydronic and electric UFH at a maximum surface temperature of 27°C. Maintain 45–60% RH year-round. UV lacquer is more humidity-resistant than wax oil. Activate UFH gradually after installation.
Q5. How should I maintain a pale UV lacquer floor like DL-711?
Daily dry sweeping is the most critical maintenance habit — pale floors show grit and dust more readily than dark floors, and fine grit will abrade the UV lacquer if not removed. Weekly damp mopping with pH-neutral UV lacquer floor cleaner. Immediate spill response — pale surfaces show coloured liquids (wine, coffee) very readily. Never use wax, oil, tinted products, or ammonia cleaners on DL-711 — these will irreversibly shift the pale neutral tone.
Q6. Is DL-711 available from stock?
Yes — DL-711 is a Dalian China factory stock product. Contact arboren@arboren.com for current available quantities, pricing, and dispatch schedule.
